Description complète des menacesExpert
A threat is the abandonment of pastures and grasslands leading to natural succession of vegetation. The Kunora e Lurës site is impacted by water abstraction from the adjacent lake for hydro-power use, as well as construction of hydropower infrastructure, and associated road construction.

The impact of climate change, resulting in the decline of snow cover, as well as of small scale mining for chromium needs to be further studied.
