There is no information regarding population size and trends for this species. Ηowever the species of the genus Ornithogalum form locally quite large populations. Τhe two localities in Attica seem to be within the urban area of Athens and the presence of the plant there needs confirmation as it is possible that it is now extinct from these two localities.
