The subpopulations are encountered in the Natural Zones of the Mountain Ranges of Sub Andalusia and Nieves. The species is also included in the conservation project for the vegetation of the Cordovan Province undertaken by the Consejería de Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucía. Seeds are stocked in the genebank of Vegetal Andaluz.
