Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The range of this species appears to have a low human population. Small scale agricultural activities take place near water sources, especially in valleys, and there may be some nomadic grazing. However, it is not certain whether these activities have any impact on this species. For example, chemicals found in the genus Allium are part of the plant's defence against herbivores which may make them less palatable to grazers (Holst and Simmonds 2000). The central Afghan mountains xeric woodlands ecoregion now mostly consists of shrubland where once there were forests and is considered to be Critical/Endangered (United Nations Environment Programme 2008). However, this species may favour these more open habitats.
