État de la populationExpert
No population data are provided by the authors of this recently described species (Brullo and Salmeri 2021). During 2023 the species was located close to the town of Karistos. It grows in rocky slopes with sparse shrubby vegetation and is rare within this area. However, its habitat has a wide distribution within this area and the species probably has a wider distribution within this restricted area between Marmari and Karystos.

Description complète des menacesExpert
The species depends on the existence of clearings among the dwarf shrubs that dominate in the area. For this reason, the grazing existing in the area is probably necessary to ensure habitat suitability for the species. Any change in grazing regime could therefore affect it. Touristic development in the area will probably affect part of the population in the future, mainly at lower elevations.
