État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
The population size is unknown. Most collections are relatively old, and there is a decline in the quality of habitat, suggesting a negative population trend. Ridley (1899) considered the species common in Singapore in a publication from 1899. Considering the age of this statement and the development of land in Singapore, it is unlikely to still be true.
