Description complète des menacesExpert
The forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of being logged and the land converted to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2019). There has been c. 6% tree cover loss within the extended extent of occurrence (EOO) (GFW 2019). With the distribution solely based on the available georeferenced herbarium specimens, 17% of the tree cover was lost between 2000 and 2017 (GFW 2019).
