There are both intact and degraded habitat in these sites (GFW 2020). Due to the general locality information it is possible that part or the whole population is found within protected areas; Bukit Larut Forest Reserve (Protected Planet 2020) and/or Penang permanent forest reserves surrounding Penang Hill (under UNESCO's consideration for Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve).
