The forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of logging and land conversion to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2019). Two of the available collections were made in protected areas (Taman Negara Banjaran Crocker and Gunung Mulu National Park) in which the habitat should be protected (ZRC 2019, Protected Planet 2019).
