État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
The population size is unknown. The general decline in the quality of habitat does, however, suggest that there is a negative population trend.

Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Based on tree cover loss data (GFW 2019) there is an estimated decline in habitat quality. Around 14% of the tree cover was lost within the extent of occurrence (EOO) between 2000 and 2017 (GFW 2019). There are several reasons for forest loss and land conversion within the EOO; e.g. agriculture and urbanisation.

Mesures de conservation recommandéesStratégies de conservation IUCNExpert
This species has been recorded by BGCI (2019) to be grown in one ex situ site. It is e.g. known from Kubah National Park in which individuals should be under a level of protection (ZRC 2019, Protected Planet 2019). Further research of the species distribution and population is needed to better understand its conservation needs.
