État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
The species is known from only four localities, very close to each other. Population size is unknown. There are reports by researchers (C. Dodson and F. Orjeda) estimating the number of adults in the type locality as less than 100 individuals. In the other localities of the species appear to be in healthy habitat. It is possible that the species has more subpopulations, therefore further research on population distribution and abundance is required.

Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Three of the four known subpopulations occur in a landscape dominated by forests, and are probably in healthy habitat (but this needs corroboration). There are reports of habitat destruction in the type locality, where agricultural activities are degrading the forests. Further information on the threats for the subpopulations is required.
