The species is only known from one location which is not protected. The species was found in an area with rocky outcrops which is currently still covered with natural vegetation. However, a dense patchwork of agricultural fields are only a short distance away, although these do not seem to have expanded in the last 15 years (Google Earth 2020). There is a road nearby. Therefore, it is also vulnerable to future expansion of the road and other infrastructure.
