État de la populationExpert
Quercus hemisphaerica is widespread throughout the southeastern coastal plain, and though its population has never been quantified, no major declines have been noted, suggesting the population is stable. Minor declines have been observed in Florida occurrences, but these appear to be localized and unlikely to bring this species within a threatened category threshold in the near future.
