État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
Most locations of Quercus dinghuensis are known only from old herbarium collections and flora records. Major urbanization and land conversion have taken place in the region (e.g. lowlands in large mountain areas or limestone complexes). Urgent re-assesment of the existing localities is needed to establish the presence of populations and extent of the distribution. The place that the type material originated from was burned down about 15 years ago; no individuals have been found since then.
