Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
A study by Ipor et al. (1999) noted that the regions in which Quercus chrysotricha occurs were difficult to access and therefore were not subject to extensive scale forest exploitation. They did note that logging roads were rapidly approaching the region. As this study is 20 years old, it is possible that logging has entered the region and is affecting Q. chrysotricha and/or its habitat.

Mesures de conservation recommandéesStratégies de conservation IUCNExpert
There is little information regarding the conservation of Quercus chrysotricha. As the species is very restricted in its occurrence, efforts should be made towards protecting the species in situ. It is recommended that more research be done to better understand the threats affecting the species and determine if it needs to be assessed at a higher level of threat.
