This species is classed as Critically Endangered in Poland and Germany, Endangered in Sweden and Estonia, Vulnerable in parts of Russia, and Near Threatened (NT) in Norway and Finland.
In the UK it is listed as Least Concern (LC), although it is the subject of a Biodiversity Action Plan.
Research on the ecological requirements of this species as well as potential threats is recommended. Monitoring of the existing populations is needed.
