Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
There are two recorded ex situ collections in botanic gardens worldwide (BGCI 2017). This species does occur the Tomaniivi Nature Reserve and the Wabu Reserve. The conservation recommendations include: i) additional seed collections ii) species recovery and management plan (possibly including enhancement planting), and iii) awareness and engagement of land owners and regulatory authorities. Research is also needed into ecology and ecosystem services and propagation methods.
