Description complète des menacesExpert
Forests of Borneo and Sumatra are under continuous threat of being logged and converted (WWF 2019). Over 40% of the tree cover within the extent of occurrence (EOO) was lost between 2000 and 2017 (GFW 2019).

Habitats préférentiels (classification IUCN)

  • 1_6Forest - Subtropical/Tropical Moist Lowland
Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
This species has not been recorded by BGCI (2019) to be grown ex situ. One collection was made in Semengoh Forest Reserve in which individuals should be under a level of protection (Smith 1985, ZRC 2019, Protected Planet 2019). The species is also present in the Lambir Hills National Park (Sakai and Nagamasu 1998, A. Poulsen pers. obs. 2018).
