Lithocarpus lemeeanus occurs in a number of subpopulations throughout Vietnam. The region has seen extensive deforestation (logging) and habitat conversion for agriculture (rubber, bananas), road construction and urbanization. Sites outside protected areas may no longer hold subpopulations of this species.
