État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
Lithocarpus andersonii occurs in a number of subpopulations throughout Brunei and Indonesian and Malaysian Borneo. The area has seen extensive logging, seasonal burning and land conversion to palm oil plantations. It is very likely that some of these subpopulations outside protected areas no longer hold any individuals. Due to this there has been at least a 30% population decline over a moving window. The time period used is 160 years, considering one generation past and 100 years in the future (1963–2123). This is just shy of three generations, but considers that we have decline figures for Southeast Asia only from the last 60 years and can only calculate decline up to 100 years in the future (as per IUCN 2012). This also considers that up until the 1960s there was minimal forest decline across Borneo, and so could be treated as a minimum population reduction.
