Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
There are no known direct threats to this species. Using Global Forest Watch (2019), there has been some deforestation in the Kikori catchment area for agriculture, but this has so far not been on any significant scale. There is also a logging concession in the area where the type collection was made. Deforestation in New Guinea is mainly driven by subsistence agriculture and commercial logging, as well as commercial plantations and mining (McAlpine and Freyne 2003).
