Description complète des menacesExpert

This species has a very sporadic distribution and is uncommon at Tembat Forest Reserve, Terenggau (Sam et al. 2012). The forest reserve is part of a Permanent Reserved Forest network which is managed sustainable for environment and socio-economic purposes (National Forestry Act 1984). However, the site where the plants were found was undergoing massive clear-felling in anticipation of the construction of a new dam when the collectors found the plants in 2009 (Y.Y. Sam pers. obs. 2018).

Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
Ex situ conservation is urgently needed. This species was found in a Forest Reserve. However, this particular area is being logged for the construction of a dam.
