Description complète des menacesExpert
There are no threats which especially target this species. There are, however, threats to its general habitat. According to WWF (2017), Sumatra lost 55% of its natural forests between 1985 and 2014 and is projected to lose 5 million hectares between 2010 and 2030. Within the extent of occurrence, there has been over 17% tree cover loss in a 16 year period (GFW 2018). Satellite imagery (GFW 2018) shows degradation of the habitat quality in most of the locations where this species has been found.
