État de la populationExpert
The population size is unknown but the population trend seems, at least in part, to be stable. The habitat of the subpopulation in Gunung Ledang (G. Ledang State Park) (Lau and Lim 2012) as well as the subpopulation in Taman Negara Pahang is known to be relatively undisturbed (Lau 2014).

Description complète des menacesExpert
There are no recorded threats which are specific to this species. Threats to the general habitat do exist and a decline in habitat quality may have a negative effect on this species. According to Global Forest Watch (GFW 2018) there has been over 30% tree cover loss within this species extent of occurrence (EOO). It is worth noting, however, that the main tree cover loss is not in the areas within the EOO where this species has been found.

Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
Research and monitoring of this species is needed to better understand its conservation needs. Individuals found in more or less protected areas (e.g. Taman Negara Pahang and Gunung Ledang Recreational Forest) may be conserved.
