Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Satellite imagery and land use data from Global Forest Watch (2021) show that the area from which this species has been recorded has been heavily deforested, with only patches of primary forest remaining. Oil palm plantations are a dominant land use in the area and border almost the entirety of the road between Sibulussalam and Gelombang. According to primary forest data from 2001, a significant proportion of primary forest has been lost in the area and along the road within the last twenty years. It is therefore possible that this species may have declined as a result.
