Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Gunung Meja is a small 5 km2 patch of forest surrounded by the city of Manokwari. There has been encroachment around the edges of the protected areas for the cultivation of gardens, and small-scale felling of trees for firewood (Sinery 2006). The forest has a tarmac road through it, which allows access to the majority of the site, and is surrounded by urban development on all sides. In addition there has been substantial forest loss in the areas surrounding Gunung Meja for urban development and agriculture, and as this was similar lowland forest habitat to the Gunung Meja reserve, this species was most likely also found in these areas before the development of Manokwari city.
