Description complète des menacesExpert

Generalized threats to this species include loss and degradation of habitat, in addition to competition from invasive plant and animal species such as Scaevola taccada (CABI 2020) and feral ungulates. As all of the land where this species occurs is low-lying, in the longer term, climate change will have an impact on this taxon through sea level rise.
