Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The habitat of Cycas zambalensis is subjected to almost annual fires to promote new growth of grass for grazing. These areas are not protected and are exposed to human disturbance, i.e. expansion of settlement areas. The leaves of the species are collected and used in an annual religious ritual. Seedlings are massively collected by the indigenous people for sale in the local market. In one of its localities, the grasslands are convbeing erted to an exclusive resort-residential area.
