État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
Cycas tropophylla is an abundant species typically found in habitats that have been regarded as relatively inaccessible but there has been an increase in collecting for ornamental purposes and habitat destruction. This is estimated to have been >30% over the past 50 years (less than 3 generations), but further extrapolation is not possible and so this is considered to be a minimum population reduction.
