Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
All habitats are generally burned annually and habitat conversion for agriculture is expanding. Modelling the impacts of increased fire intensity and frequency on survival and recruitment in other species of Cycas (Liddle 2004) showed that such fires can result in future declines to levels where assessment as Vulnerable is likely unless alternative fire management practices are introduced.
