État de la populationTexte officiel évaluation IUCNExpert
The population is thought to number fewer than 2,500 mature individuals but there have been no detailed population counts. Estimates of past reduction are based on areas of habitat that were affected by extensive aerial application of herbicides during the north-south war together with subsequent land clearing. Together, more than 50% of habitat has been destroyed. Future reductions are expected due to growing expansion of tourist developments in the vicinity of DaNang.
