Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The two main threats to Coccothrianx inaguensis are coastal development pressure and climate change. In areas that it occurs on San Salvador island there has been clearing for building housing. Sea level rise will directly impact Coccothrinax inaguensis as it occurs near coast lines in areas that are less than 2 meters above sea level and will be inundated during storm events and cause habitat degradation.
