Description complète des menacesExpert

The main threat to this species is from climate change. Warming temperatures may result in habitat shifting, resulting in the replacement of páramo species by trees or invasive species already occupying lower elevations (Kappelle and Horn 2016). However, levels of habitat loss have so far been low.
