État de la populationExpert
There is no numerical population available, but this grass can be locally dominant in pastures up to 1,400 m asl (Veldkamp 1999) and it is suspected that the population will be large and that the current population trend may be relatively stable.
Description complète des menacesExpert
This locally abundant grass can grow in areas with dry barren soils and in anthropogenically modified pasture habitats over a wide elevational range. No currently significant threats to the overall population were identified and no immediate future threats are expected.
