Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The major threat for this species is loss of habitat due to expansion of human settlement. Land conversion is highly possible since the area where it occurs in Punakha (Rimchu) falls under private registered land and if the forest is cleared in the near future, there will be a total loss of its habitat. Developmental activities such as road widening could also have an impact since the habitat located is just below the highway of Punakha to Gasa (two districts). Road widening is a common phenomenon nationwide posing threats to most of the species. A further possible threat is natural disasters, such as floods, and climate change.
