There are no information available on threats to this species. But anthropogenic threats such as collection of non timber forest produces (NTFPs), firewood, logging, hunting and recreational activity is likely as the habitat lies near the human settlement area.

All orchid species are included under Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). The Government of India has banned the export for commercial purposes of all wild-taken specimens of species included in Appendices I, II and III, except cultivated varieties of plant species included in Appendices I and II accompanied by a CITES Comparable Certificate issued by the competent authorities of India (CITES Notif. No. 2018/031).
