Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The species was heavily impacted by collectors for the ornamental trade, but this has slowed in recent years. Plants at the type locality have all been removed. During the period 1985/1986 about 2,000 plants were removed. Agricultural practices in the area also possibly will have an effect on the subpopulations.
