Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
Castanopsis rockii is listed in one ex situ collection on BGCI (2020). It has been nationally assessed as Vulnerable in China in 2017 (Qin et al. 2017) and Endangered in 2020 (Ministry of Ecology and Environment Chinese Academy of Sciences 2020). The species is present in at least two protected areas. Given the low number of localities known, it is recommended that attempts be made to collect and rear the species in ex situ collections.
