État de la populationExpert
Castanopsis rhamnifolia occurs in a number of subpopulations throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. The area has seen extensive logging, seasonal burning and land conversion to intense agriculture such as banana, rice, rubber and palm oil plantations and cattle ranching. It is very likely that some of these subpopulations outside protected areas no longer hold any individuals.
