The forests of Borneo are under a continuous, general threat of being logged and converted for e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2018). The forests in which this species has been collected looks relatively intact (GFW 2018). Considering the small area of occupancy (AOO) continued protection of the areas are of utmost importance.
