The forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of being logged and the land converted to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2018). Even though the localities where the species has been collected seem intact (GFW 2018) parts of the surrounding areas have been converted. If the agricultural landscape expands it may threaten this species.
