Description complète des menacesExpert

On São Tomé, the species is threatened by clearance for construction of houses and shifting agriculture for domestic uses. Also, the construction of an industrial palm oil plantation will threaten the species habitat. On Príncipe, 80% of the forest has been destroyed two centuries ago. Nowadays, almost all the vegetation located outside protected areas is threatened by shifting agriculture and selective logging.
