Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The major common threat to this species in the Andean region is habitat loss due to extensive farming. Agricultural expansion with the removal of Andean forests and the replacement of the diverse native Andean flora, with fewer and cultivated crops, is a major threat to all bumble bee species. In addition, land pollution as a consequence of agriculture is a threat to this species known at least at the local level.

Mesures de conservation recommandéesStratégies de conservation IUCNExpert
Occurrence records should be compared with land-use and areas of conservation. It is not known whether populations are present within protected areas. There do not appear to be any species specific conservation measure in place.
