Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
This species is known only from the primary forests between Bandar Baru and Mount Sibayak, which are currently protected by Bukit Barisan Grand Forest Park. Data and satellite imagery from Global Forest Watch (2020) shows that there has been some recent deforestation within the park’s forests, though the area is relatively intact. The area which this species has been recorded from is situated at the edge of the park and therefore is at a high risk of encroachment from illegal agriculture, logging and plantations. Satellite imagery shows that there has been some encroachment already, though this is not on a significant scale. The forests protected by Bukit Barisan Grand Forest Park are one of the only large remaining areas of primary forest remaining within the region and therefore may hold the only habitat area suitable for the persistence of this species.
