Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
A few known locations are in areas impacted by expanding crop cultivation such as the Bokkeveld Plateau, the Olifants River Valley and the plains southeast of Vanrhynsdorp. However, this species' preference for rocky soils and steep slopes means that it occurs in a habitat unsuitable to ploughing. Most subpopulations are in areas unaffected by any human pressure, and only around 20% of its range is currently irreversibly modified.
