This species occurs in the Zahamena National Park, Analamazaotra-Perinet Special Reserve, Ambohitantely Special Reserve, Tsaratanana Integral Natural Reserve, Anjanaharibe-Sud Special Reserve, Marojejy National Park, Andringitra National Park, Ranomafana National Park, Ivohibe Special Reserve, Midongy du Sud National Park and Marotandrano Special Reserve, where 23 subpopulations are protected.
