The population of Angraecum pseudodidieri is currently thought to be decreasing since the species habitat is threatened. The number of individuals of A. pseudodidieri is not known and cannot be estimated since the species is an epiphyte.

This species has been recorded on the footprint of a mining project undergoing intense human pressure such as forests clearing. These specimens were taken on individuals that are now extirpated and as such, not taken into account in the calculation of the EOO, AOO and number of locations. We infer that the past loss of its habitat has induced a strong continuous decline in habitat quality, number of locations and mature individuals as well as an important decline of its EOO and AOO.

Angraecum pseudodidieri has been collected from 3 specimens in several protected areas, the Parc National de la Montagne d’Ambre, the Torotorofotsy RAMSAR site and the Ranomafana National Park. It is also listed in the Appendix II of the CITES. One specimen is cultivated ex situ in a botanical garden live collection.
