Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
The main threat to this species is conversion of habitat from bowal grassland to market gardening. There is a method used in the Kindia area to create 'raised beds' on the sandstone bowal for local market gardening of vegetables and herbs for Kindia town (C. Couch pers. obs. Oct. 2015). There is also much cattle grazing in the area on the grassland and as a result there has been an increase in the fire regime over time. Fires are set at during the dry season to promote new growth for grazing (C.Couch pers. obs. Nov. 2016).
