Description complète des menacesExpert
The forest of Borneo are threatened of being logged and converted for e.g. palm oil production (WWF 2018). Based on satellite imagery and the habitat is relatively intact around the collection sites in Kalimantan. Nearby forests and those surrounding Bau are, however, fragmented and deforestation and land conversion is prominent. Around 28% of the tree cover was lost within the extent of occurrence between 2000 and 2017 (GFW 2019).
