There has been over 22% tree cover loss within this species' extent of occurrence (EOO) in a 16 year period (2000-2016) (GFW 2018) causing a projected continuing decline in the quality of habitat. Lowlands, limestone and coastal forest are the habitats especially threatened by changes of land use.
